OUR STORY

Founded in 2020 during the COVID lockdown, Grassroots started out as a way to showcase the clothing I made in college. At this time, my life consisted of laying out in my backyard soaking up as much sun as I possibly could and applying for "big girl" jobs to fund my bikini obsession. With no luck on the job hunt (aka no money), I decided to try my luck in sewing my own bikinis. My sweet parents provided me with the funds for a few yards of fabric, some sewing supplies, and my mom's old serger and I got to work creating a brand that I am proud to share with you all.

Grassroots is a brand that embodies the happiness and confidence that everyone deserves to experience in life. It focuses on comfort, versatility, and style, with each piece handmade and unique to you. My goal is that every time you put on a Grassroots bikini, you feel as happy as I felt when I made it.
